LOS ANGELES — It was a heated series for the Lakers and Grizzlies. Emotions were high, lots of trash-talking, and ejections were made, but it was the Lakers who sent the Grizzlies packing to Cancun as they dominated in Friday night's game six by 40 points! The final score was 125-85. Funnily enough, just days before their elimination, Grizzlies big man Dillion Brooks, the ultimate trash-talker in this series, told the press,

"I don't respect no one till they give me 40," said Brooks.

Ironically the Lakers beat the Grizzlies by exactly 40 points causing fans to troll Brooks. Well, can we blame them?  If you're going to talk trash, especially against the NBA's all-time leading scorer, LeBron James, you might at least want to play the best game of your life. Brooks played the complete opposite in the biggest moments of the matchup as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference got bounced. He only scored a combined 29 points in the Grizzlies' final three losses on 11-of-37 shooting from the field. Yikes. But after Game 2, following the Grizzlies' win, Brooks had a lot to say to the press, even going as far as calling LeBron James "old.”

After the ejection in Game 3, things only got worse for Brooks after he hit James in the groin area early in the second half. It was a meltdown of epic proportions for one of the biggest heels in the entire NBA. Memphis went on to lose the next two games, where they ultimately ended their playoff run.  Despite having much to say during the entire series, Brooks became silent, even missing the postgame media conference. As a result, Brooks was fined $25,000 for missing the conference, and Twitter went into a frenzy.

Despite ending the season, Grizzlies' Ja Morant has averaged 26.6 points, 7.2 assists, and 4.6 rebounds in 10 games versus the Lakers in his career. Perhaps a new team is on the horizon for the game-changing guard? We're all wondering if Grizzlies star Ja Morant is still "Fine in the West?"

Morant is sticking to his statement, but it will be the Lakers will face the Warriors in the second round.

So, who ya got?!
