FLUSHING, NY — Frances Tiafoe is raising the bar high in men’s tennis as he defeated 22-time Grand Slam champion, No. 2 Rafael Nadal on Monday in the quarterfinals, but his run did not stop there. Yesterday, the Maryland native stunned the Arthur Ashe Stadium defeating No. 9 Andrey Rublev in straight sets to advance to the semi-finals. Last night, he paved his path to becoming the first American to make US Open semifinals since 2006. Special, indeed.

After the stunning win in straight sets, “BIG FOE” milly-rocked his way to get interviewed.

This is wild, crazy, biggest win of my life 24 hours ago and coming back with this,” said Tiafoe, who didn’t get broken all match. “This court is unbelievable. I feel at home. Let’s enjoy this one, but we’ve got two more.”

What makes Tiafoe’s story so remarkable is his resilience while growing up. His accomplishments show the world that if you never give up, you can persevere and defy the odds. Tiafoe proves that if you put in the work, life can amaze you. Check out this tweet from Front Office Sports. Tiafoe has taken over social media, as stories like these will continue to grasp the attention of people who aren't tennis fans, and it’s fascinating to watch.

"BIG FOE" will return to the court this Sunday and he has his eyes on the prize as he could make even more history.

We’ll be front and center!
