WNBA: Slam Dunk, Standings, Your WNBA Update

PHOENIX, AZ— Phoenix Mercury's Brittney Griner slammed her first dunk of the year, continuing her remarkable return in the WNBA. Despite a three-game losing streak, Griner's big-time play propelled Phoenix to beat Los Angeles 72-78. Griner’s explosive dunk early in the second quarter Sunday evening put an end to all those questioning her return. Despite being 4-14 and overall 6th in the Western Conference, the Mercurys have something to celebrate this week.
