The Aces won game one of their best-two-out-of-three First Round Playoff series on Wednesday evening. They finished the game with a victory 79-63 over the Phoenix Mercury. Guard, Kelsey Plum led scoring with 22 points—the 5th time in the last 6 playoff games that she has scored 20 or more points. Plum is on fire and we’re eager to watch game 2 tonight at 9pm EST.

Phoenix Mercury guard, Shey Peddy ruptured her right achilles, and is out for tonight’s game. This news has caused quite the buzz as Peddy’s presence on the court is impactful. Peddy went down on a non-contact play during the third quarter Wednesday and was carried off the court.
