MLB: Aaron Judge's 60th Home Run
BRONX, NEW YORK — New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is more than just a pretty face, he’s just belted his 60th home run of the season in the Yankees' 147th game of the season, tying Babe Ruth for second on the franchise's single-season home run list. Impressive? Yes. In fact, Judges season has been incredible, and the statistics highlight his achievements. Even earlier in his career Judge had the most home runs as a rookie from 2016-2017 with 56 total. Despite his injury plague during the 2018-2019 season, Judge missed out on nearly 50 games that year, but it’s safe to say this baller is coming back on-top.
Fast-forward to Sunday, you can spot Judges celebrating with teammates in the dugout after hitting his second home run of the night against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wis. The Yankees slugger, is also able to shift to center, to right field, allowing the Yankees to maintain a more flexible defensive alignment and better lineup, which is a huge advantage for their team.
