PHOENIX — It was a rough home game for the Phoenix Suns as the sound of boos engulfed the Footprint Center at halftime on Thursday. The Nuggets were up 30 points, and it became obvious they were well on their way back to the Western Conference finals. The Game 6 final score was 125-100, and now the Nuggets continue the mission to win their first-ever NBA championship. With a phenomenal performance from Nikola Jokić, the forward scored 32 points, shot 13 of 18 from the field, and added 12 assists and 10 rebounds. It was his fourth triple-double of the postseason in 11 games. Another notable performance was from Jamal Murray, who scored 26 points, had 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.

Kevin Durant, who’s just recently signed with the Suns, expressed his disappointment on Thursday night’s loss.

"It was a bad feeling," Durant said. "It was embarrassing. They came out and got us in the mouth, and we couldn't recover."

Durant was 8-19, scoring 23 points, with 5 rebounds and 1 block. Not his best night, but teammate Devin Booker had only 12 points in the 36 minutes he played. Chris Paul was officially considered day-to-day with a left groin strain and was out. The Suns were projected to win this series, and it had social media flooding after the unexpected blowout.

We have to ask…did you see this coming?!
