NBA: Boston Celtics beat 76ers Tying the Series 3-3
PHILADELPHIA — “He may not always come when you need him, but he’s always on time!” That was the vibe after the Celtics’ big win against the 76ers after one of Jayson Tatum’s worst game starts of his career.
It was a grueling start for Tatum as he accumulated a whopping 3 points at half-time. The Celtics star was having a slow start and was ultimately sloppy during the entire game up until the fourth quarter. After numerous turnovers, it was no shock that Tatum was crowned as the first player in the history of the NBA with 100 turnovers in a single postseason last year. It was almost hard to watch. But things turned around in the fourth quarter for Tatum as he scored 16 points, finishing the game with 19 points, shooting 5-21, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks. The final score was 95-86 in Philadelphia. Tatum ended up outscoring the entire Sixers team in the final quarter of the big win, leading to Boston’s victory.
“I kept looking at the time,” Tatum said to the media after the contest. “I’ve got time, I’ve got time to make a difference. I believed that the whole time.”
Well, "It’s not how you start. It’s how you finish.”
So who do you think is winning this series?
76ers or Boston?
