NCAA: WOMEN’S FINAL FOUR

DALLAS , TX — The Final Four for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament is set, and unlike the men’s tournament, a few fan favorites actually made it to the national semifinals. Is your team one of them? Let’s check it out! It was an incredible Elite 8 series but now we only have four left who will battle on Friday.

Two top-seeded teams; South Carolina and Virginia Tech will join No. 2-seed Iowa and No. 3-seed LSU in the Final Four. The Women’s Final Four stands in stark contrast to the men’s tournament, which did not have a single top-three-seeded team advance. LSU will face-off Virginia Tech @ 7pm ET and Iowa vs. South Carolina @ 9pm ET.

While all teams have done exactly what was needed to earn their Final Four slot, there was one player particularly taking over headlines and rightfully so, her name is Caitlin Clark. Clark has made history recording a 40-point triple-double. Yup, she is that girl. That girl that is dominating not only in women’s stats but men’s also and we LOVE to see it as she and Iowa head to first Final Four in 30 years. How remarkable. And to top it off, the 6ft guard had 41 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Sheeeeesh.

Caitlin Clark of Iowa is the first-ever player in either the men’s or women’s NCAA tournament history to record a 40-point triple-double.

I also can’t end this article without celebrating South Carolina’s phenomenal game against Maryland 86-75. Let me just say this was one of the best coached games I’ve seen from Dawn Staley! I mean perfection, but what can we expect from a team who’s 36-0? Bravo, South Carolina, I am listing them as the : one’s to beat in this tournament.

So…who you got?!
