NEW YORK — After Jets Quarterback, Zach Wilson claimed he did not let his defense down following a 3-10 loss against their division rivals New England Patriots, Wilson reserved himself a spot on the bench. Wilson throwing for only 77 passing yards, completing only nine of his 22 pass attempts, many were not shocked to see the quarterback was benched. Following the worst game of the Jets season, Wilson did not take accountability for his poor performance. When asked if he feels like he let his team’s defense down, only putting up 3 points, accumulating two yards in total offense in the second half, Wilson without hesitation replied "No”.

“Do you feel like you let the defense down at all?” Journalist, Connor Hughes asked.

“No,” replied Zach Wilson.

The cringe-worthy answer of '“No”, confirmed a spot on the bench for the young quarterback. The Jets head coach Robert Saleh was visibly frustrated by New York’s offense calling their performance in the second half “dog sh—t”.

Safe to say since the benching of his number one quarterback, things have took a turn, and Mike White can take credit for the turn-around in week 12. Starting White at quarterback resulted in a Jets 31-10 victory over the Chicago Bears. With 3 TDs, throwing for 315 yds, and zero interceptions, it’s safe to say at this point they’re sticking to Mike White as he’s surely set the tone at the Met Life Stadium.

Things are looking up for the J-E-T-S, can they keep up this momentum against the Minnesota Vikings next week?

Stay tuned!
