NBA: LeBron James Makes History

OKLAHOMA — The King has been crowned as the only player in NBA history to record at least 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists. Lakers star LeBron James has many notable career achievements but this one tops all. Can we admit that the GOAT Debate is officially over? James scored a fade-away jumper making his 38,388th bucket at the top of the key. The crowd watched in awe as James now holds the NBA’s All-Time Leading scorer title. Previous record holder and Hall-of-Famer, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, handed the ball in celebration to a teary-eyed James and it was certainly a priceless moment.

The most incredible part of it all, is that James’ career is not over yet. The 38-year-old is one of two players in NBA history to win at least four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards (Michael Jordan is the other). James previously broke the record for most total points — regular season and playoffs — in February 2022, and on Jan. 16, he became just the second player in NBA history to score 38,000 career points. And now we are celebrating the leading scorer in the NBA - every shot James makes is now historic. What a time to be alive to witness such greatness.

So I have to ask…is the GOAT talk still debatable?
