WNBA: Candace Parker Signs with Las Vegas Aces
Las Vegas β As if the Las Vegas Aces needed another weapon to their squad finishing their 2022 season 26-10, 1st in the Western Conference, and won the 2022 WNBA Commissioner's Cup and WNBA Championship. The unstoppable Aces team just signed two-time WNBA MVP Candace Parker. Aces starting five already features two-time MVP A'ja Wilson, all-WNBA selection Kelsey Plum and 2022 Finals MVP Chelsea Gray In addition, the Clark and George signings add to the Aces' depth, which wasn't a strong suit of theirs last season. Itβs only getting more challenging to beat the team that was tough to beat in the first place. Now the Aces are adding one of the best players in league history, a 10-all-time WNBA selection who won MVP in 2008, and 2012. Also, Parker secured a Finals MVP in 2016 with the Sparks. She also helped propel the Chicago Sky to a title in 2021 during her first year on the squad. To say the Aces are stacked, is an understatement.
"We are thrilled to have Candace Parker join the Aces family," Aces general manager Natalie Williams said in a statement. "Candace is a future Hall of Famer, a proven champion, and most importantly, an incredible woman. She is a talented play maker, an exceptional leader, and an invaluable piece toward our quest for another championship title. We look forward to welcoming Candace and her family to Las Vegas."
Safe to say all eyes are on the Aces this season.
